RockFire at the Lake is Topeka¹s newest community development
comprised of 169 acres, carefully planned for unmatched beauty,
comfort and convenience. Resting on the bluffs overlooking Lake
Shawnee Park and Golf Course to the west, RockFire at the Lake
stretches to 45th and Croco on the south and east. Initially,

Our
name, RockFire at the Lake, captures the

Lake Shawnee as the setting sun sheds
its crimson glow. Natural limestone ledges

will also grace the design of the development

RockFire¹s master plan
includes creation of many
small communities, each one
featuring their own unique
character. For example, near
the southwest corner of RockFire
stands the original 1880s
homestead for this 169-acre
parcel of land. This classic,
two-story, natural limestone
home, will be remodeled by
the family that desires a
historic ambiance for living.
It will anchor the Blazing
Star Estates community, a
cul-de-sac of 11 estate lots
surrounding the stone homestead.
These homes¹ façades
will feature the same natural
limestone, enhancing the neighborhood¹s
unique sense of style and
local color.
Another neighborhood area,
Silverleaf Estates, will feature
stone, stucco or brick façade
homes on lots offering stately,
mature trees. Many of these
prime locations overlook the
Lake Shawnee Golf Course.
Beneficial
Covenants
The homeowners' covenants
will contain certain protections
and requirements for the benefit
of all owners in the development.
These documents will include
such items as the restriction
of parking for recreational
vehicles and other commercial
vehicles on the streets, no
chain link fencing of any
kind, and a certain amount
of stone or brick on the front
of all structures.
